Tyler Powell is a cadet journalist at the Plains Producer. After completing work experience at the Plains Producer and The Advertiser in the field of photography, she changed her focus to becoming a journalist. Tyler’s journalism career began at The Leader, reporting on local football matches each week while studying. Also during that time she had stories published on The Junction, an online publication that showcases student journalism. In April 2022 she graduated from the University of South Australia with a degree in Journalism and Professional Writing. Less than a month after graduating, she commenced her cadetship at the Plains Producer.
