Police have been looking into eight suspicious grass fires that occurred across the Adelaide Plains on a scorching day late last month. On February 24 the mercury rose to 39 degrees and between 2pm and 7pm, several fires broke out.

The first fire was called in at 2.22pm near Port Gawler Road and Old Port W
